  • Must complete paper application at our employment office located at 120 Boswell Blvd Rd.
in Magee, MS 39111.
Characteristics of Work:
First, Second or Third-level Support Care position accountable for interacting, and assisting with care plan activities, observing and reporting patient conditions and behaviors, and participating in rehabilitation, ambulation, and transfers. The implementation and documentation of training programs on daily basis. May mentor or direct the work of lower-level employees. Coordinate with supervisors, team members, and others to address transportation and any other needs that may arise concerning the individual.
Examples of Work:
  • Assist with care plan activities and support overall client habilitation goals.
  • Develop and/or implement habilitation or treatment plans.
  • Teach or assist clients with self-help, developmental, educational, and socialization skills.
  • Observe, document, and report client conditions and behaviors.
  • Participate in rehabilitation activities, including ambulation and transfers.
  • Assist in planning and carrying out classroom instruction activities.
  • Carry out training programs as specified in client ISPs.
  • Monitor client interactions while in Day Services areas.
Ensure client safety throughout all Day Services environments.
Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate and assist in developing, planning, implementing education, self-help, grooming, housekeeping, daily living, and social programs.
  • Provide training and direction to staff and/or clients to ensure proper program implementation.
  • Supervise or mentor direct care personnel and perform general administrative duties.
  • Document client behavior, activities, and progress toward habilitation and treatment goals.
  • Schedule and attend required training sessions.
  • Perform routine procedures to assess clients' level of functioning and overall well-being.
  • Encourage appropriate interactions between staff and individuals during classroom activities
Minimum Qualifications:
Typically requires High School Diploma or high school equivalency, and 0-3+ years of experience. May require a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation.
