Appalachian Community Services is hiring a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Asheville, NC area to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their behavioral health needs. This role is a strong fit for experienced caregivers, DSPs, CNAs, HHAs, PCAs, home health workers, and other direct care professionals looking to continue their work in a meaningful, person-centered setting. Ability to work scheduled 12-hour shifts Physical ability to to work in a variety of environments including navigating stairs and other barriers in private residences. Experience in direct care, caregiving, home health, behavioral health, or related support roles is helpful, but not required. Training is provided.
