Home Care Aide

Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential support and assistance to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning patients
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain medical documentation
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care

Skills:

• Experience in senior care or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
• Ability to lift and assist with transfers of patients
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
