Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential support and assistance to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning patients
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain medical documentation
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
Skills:
- Experience in senior care or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Ability to lift and assist with transfers of patients
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
