Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide, providing essential support to individuals in their homes to promote independence, comfort, and well-being. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on clients' lives by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety. You will work part-time, three days a week for three hours each day, delivering personalized care in a respectful and professional manner. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs and reporting any concerns promptly Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Use Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to accurately document care activities and medical records Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for clients with dementia or memory care needs Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times Qualifications Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and catheter or hospice care is highly desirable Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or working with people with disabilities are a plus Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and medical documentation protocols Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Experience using EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful patient-centered care Embark on a meaningful caregiving journey where your dedication directly enhances the quality of life for those you serve.
