Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide high-quality support and care to individuals in assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized assistance with daily activities and health monitoring. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those experiencing memory care challenges such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Shifts include 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs in accordance with care plan assist with feeding when necessary Observe and document patient condition, behavior, and progress, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain a clean and safe environment through cleaning and sanitation practices Support patients with cognitive impairments. Assist in developing and following individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs Engage in patient monitoring, report changes in condition promptly, and collaborate with healthcare teams Provide emotional support, companionship, and social engagement to promote mental well-being Experience Candidates should possess relevant experience or skills such as home & community care experience, assisted living or nursing home background, working with people with developmental disabilities or long-term care expertise. Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable. Experience working with residents who have dementia or Alzheimer's disease is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, vital signs monitoring, will be considered advantageous. Prior experience in social work or caregiving roles that involve patient observation, care planning, or working within a team environment is also beneficial. Heavy lifting capability may be required for certain tasks involving resident transfers or mobility assistance.
