Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in various settings, including home, assisted living, nursing homes, and community environments. This vital role involves assisting clients with daily activities, monitoring health and safety, and promoting independence while ensuring their comfort and well-being. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior Support medication administration following HIPAA regulations and care plans Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document patient observations, update care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia management, memory care, and hospice support techniques Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism with patience and understanding Strong skills in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and recognizing emergency situations requiring CPR or first aid response Familiarity with medication administration protocols while maintaining HIPAA compliance Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility needs using proper safety procedures Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, patients, families, and social workers effectively Join us in providing compassionate care that transforms lives! $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
