! 9-5 mon-fri We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their safety and comfort. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, respect for resident rights, and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide memory care support for clients experiencing cognitive challenges. Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. Support individuals with disabilities by fostering independence and dignity in their daily routines. Monitor client health and promptly report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold resident rights in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental, emotional, and social well-being. Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each client's needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience in a nursing home, group home, or similar caregiving setting is preferred but not required . Familiarity with safe lifting techniques and transfer methods is essential. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality are required. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients are crucial for success in this role. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
