11:00 PM - 8:00 AM Weekdays, weekends, holidays, and emergency coverage as needed Position Summary Renewed Beginnings Home, Inc. is seeking dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide supervision, support, and care to adolescent females residing in our Level III therapeutic group homes. This PRN position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible work opportunities and who are available to cover evening and/or overnight shifts. Staff must be willing to work at any assigned group home location as needed.

Essential RequirementsRequired:

High School Diploma or GED Minimum age of 21 years old Valid Driver's License Reliable Transportation Ability to pass criminal background checks and agency screenings Ability to complete required training Dependable attendance and punctuality

Preferred:

Experience working with youth, behavioral health, mental health, foster care, residential treatment, or group homes CPR/First Aid Certification Job ResponsibilitiesResident Supervision Provide active supervision and support to residents. Monitor resident behaviors and ensure safety at all times. Assist with daily living activities and skill-building opportunities. Promote positive behaviors and healthy decision-making. Evening Shift Responsibilities (5 PM - 11 PM) Assist residents with dinner preparation and clean-up. Facilitate evening activities and structured programming. Assist with homework, life skills, and recreational activities. Support hygiene and bedtime routines. Complete required documentation before the end of shift. Overnight Shift Responsibilities (11 PM - 8 AM) Conduct and document required room and safety checks. Monitor residents throughout sleeping hours. Respond appropriately to emergencies or behavioral concerns. Complete overnight cleaning and housekeeping duties. Prepare the home for morning routines. Assist with resident wake-up routines when necessary. Remain awake and alert throughout the entire overnight shift. Documentation Complete progress notes and shift documentation accurately and on time. Document behaviors, incidents, room checks, and significant events. Maintain confidentiality of all resident information. Crisis Response Utilize approved de-escalation techniques. Respond appropriately during behavioral or medical emergencies. Notify supervisors of incidents and concerns. Complete incident reports when required. Team Collaboration Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow staff. Attend required trainings and staff meetings when scheduled. Participate in shift change reports and team communication. Physical Requirements Ability to walk throughout the facility. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations. Ability to remain active and engaged throughout assigned shifts.
