Part-time / Full-time (multiple positions available) About the Role We are seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) experience to support a young adult (18-year-old male) transitioning from a residential facility into a community and home-based setting. You will work as part of a collaborative support team alongside an Alternative Family Living (AFL) provider to ensure a structured, safe, and supportive environment as the member reintegrates into school and community life. Level of Care Required Member is ambulatory/mobile Requires verbal prompts to complete most daily living tasks May require assistance with personal hygiene and daily routines No Hoyer lift or transfer equipment required No hearing or visual impairments reported Potentially high behavioral support needs Behavioral Support Needs May present with significant behavioral challenges Requires staff skilled in de-escalation techniques and redirection Must be able to follow and implement behavior support plans consistently Strong documentation and incident reporting skills required Key Responsibilities Provide structured community-based activities (parks, library, museums, etc.) Support afternoon/evening transition routines in a home setting Collaborate closely with the AFL provider and care team to ensure consistency and safety Provide behavioral and emotional support using RBT-informed practices Complete accurate and timely documentation of services provided Assist with daily living skills and routine building Encourage independence, engagement, and skill development Experience Required (Beyond Company Minimum) Experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) OR Experience working directly with behavior support plans (BSPs) Strong documentation skills Proficiency in de-escalation and crisis prevention techniques Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a DSP or in behavioral health settings Experience supporting individuals with high behavioral needs Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills Reliable and consistent work history Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience and certification) Flexible scheduling options Supportive, team-based environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a structured care setting About A Caring Heart Case Management, Inc.
