Direct Support Professional (DSP) A Caring Heart Case Management, Inc. A Caring Heart is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role centers on providing daily care, building life skills, and encouraging independence within a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Schedule Monday-Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Every other weekend required About the Role As a Direct Support Professional, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and skill-building. Services are provided in the home, community, and day program settings. You will support growth in areas such as self-care, communication, social skills, household tasks, community inclusion, and self-regulation. Training is fully provided by A Caring Heart. What We're Looking For We are seeking dependable, motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, state-minimum auto insurance, and a safe driving record. All applicants must successfully pass background checks. The ideal candidate is confident working with individuals who may display aggressive or escalated behaviors, demonstrates patience and self-control, and can effectively use de-escalation strategies. Willingness to support clients with physical activity and muscle-building exercises is essential. Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus but not required. About A Caring Heart Case Management, Inc.
