We are currently hiring for:
Full-Time Evening Shift Full-Time Night Shift PCA certification is preferred; however, we are willing to provide training and assist the right candidate with obtaining certification. Medication Aide (Med-Aide) certification will be required within 90 days of employment.
Requirements:
Current CPR certification required Healthcare and/or geriatric care experience preferred Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality Ability to work in a team-oriented, home-like environment Strong communication and professionalism Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), companionship, housekeeping, documentation, meal assistance, cooking, and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence and dignity. Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and protocols, ensuring compliance with all safety standards. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; document findings diligently in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice care to foster comfort and safety. Maintain detailed medical documentation and records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies. Respond promptly to resident needs or emergencies, utilizing physiology knowledge and first aid skills to provide immediate assistance. Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and procedures such as catheter care and tube feeding. Certification as a Medication Technician or willingness to obtain certification upon hire; familiarity with medication administration protocols. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is a plus. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to medical records and patient privacy. Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner efficiently for documentation purposes.
