Job Description
These Intellectual Developmental Disability mentor positions are very internally rewarding. if you want to make a difference in someone's life and meet the requirements below, we encourage you to apply today to become a part of our family. Requirements Must be 18 years or older Must have a high school diploma or GED Must have a valid driver's license Must have a good criminal background check Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Must have at least one year of experience with person(s) that have intellectual and/or developmental disability These services consist of assisting and supporting individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities learn skills and supporting them in their homes and the community. Depending on what supports each individual needs a treatment plan is developed for daily goals and interventions. Mentors carry out the interventions that help assist the individual in the community and/or at home.
