Your compassionate approach and dedication will empower clients to maintain their independence while receiving the care they deserve. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment. Join us in making a difference in the lives of those who rely on your expertise and kindness! What you'll do Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and document vital signs, ensuring any changes in health are reported promptly. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities to promote emotional well-being. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the living space to create a comfortable environment. Administer medication as per care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Support clients with memory care techniques for those experiencing Alzheimer's or dementia-related challenges. Assist with heavy lifting using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary, ensuring safety at all times. Basic qualifications Experience in home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is essential for ensuring client safety. Preferred qualifications Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly valued. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and care plan implementation is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
