Part-Time / Seasonal Opportunity About the Position A Caring Heart Case Management is seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized care and support to children and young people receiving services both during and outside of school hours. We are currently hiring several staff members for our Summer Children's Day Program, as new members will be starting throughout the summer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for meaningful, flexible weekday work while making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. Are you able to physically push, pull, or lift 25 pounds, unassisted, on a regular basis and up to 100 pounds unassisted occasionally? Please describe your experience working with individuals that are in the IDD populations. Please include organizations that you worked for, volunteered for, and/or personal experience that you have. Are you comfortable assisting individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) after receiving training? These tasks may include but are not limited to: Personal Care, Mobility Support, Meal Preparation & Feeding, Toileting & Continence Care, and/or Household Tasks. Would you be comfortable performing these essential duties as part of your role? This position requires completion of four paid training days (Onboarding, in-person CPR/First Aid or Safety Care sessions, and one at-home Relias module). Training days may not be consecutive, and travel up to one hour may be required depending on training location. All training must be successfully completed prior to starting your official schedule.
