Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP2) - Full-Time in Roxboro

PCGH, Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Professional II (DSP2) to provide hands-on support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI). This is an hourly direct care leadership role for someone who enjoys supporting people directly while also helping guide the daily routine of the home or program. This position is a good next step for an experienced DSP, CNA, Medication Aide, direct care worker, or team lead who is dependable, organized, and ready to take on more responsibility. What You'll Do Provide direct support with daily living needs, including personal care, meals, cleaning, appointments, activities, and community involvement. Follow each person's Individual Service Plan and help maintain a safe, respectful, person-centered environment. Administer medications and treatments as trained and assigned, and report changes in health, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor. Complete documentation accurately and on time, including service notes, incident reports, timesheets, and other required records. Help maintain staff coverage and support daily routines so required ratios and care needs are met. Assist with home and individual financial documentation as assigned. Coach and support DSPs in the home or program, including helping newer staff learn routines, expectations, and individual support needs. Follow PCGH policies, required trainings, safety procedures, confidentiality expectations, and documentation standards. What We're Looking For Experience providing direct care or support to people with IDD, TBI, autism, dementia, behavioral health needs, or similar support needs. Comfort with hands-on personal care, household routines, documentation, and teamwork. Ability to lead fairly, communicate clearly, and follow through on assigned responsibilities. Reliable attendance and willingness to work assigned shifts until relief staff arrive. Flexibility to work in different locations or programs based on individual and agency needs. A practical, steady, team-oriented approach to problem-solving. Schedule Full-time position based on assigned program needs. Schedule may include evenings, weekends, holidays, or coverage needs depending on the home or program.

Pay:

Starts at $14.00 per hour minimum . Starting pay may be up to $16.00 per hour in applicable settings. Why
