Job Description
Job Summary The Law Family Company is looking for compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a residential setting. We're a family-founded company with a simple mission: treat every resident the way we'd want our own family member treated. This is more than a caregiving job. Our DSPs help residents build independence, participate in their communities, learn new skills, and enjoy meaningful everyday lives. What You'll Do Support residents with daily living activities while promoting independence Assist with meal preparation and household routines Transport residents to appointments, community outings, and activities Encourage life skills including cooking, budgeting, and personal organization Complete documentation accurately and on time Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to pass required background checks Reliable attendance Preferred Previous experience as a DSP, CNA, PCA, caregiver, behavioral health technician, or in human services CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience supporting individuals with IDD, autism, behavioral health, or mental health needs Why Join The Law Family Company?
