Job Description

Job Summary The Direct Support Professional (DSP) plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities or special needs. We're looking for caring, reliable DSPs to support a young man with IDD and physical challenges through the NC Innovations Waiver.
Schedule:
MWF or
T/TH 3-9 PM
+ one day during the weekend from 10 am-7 pm
What You'll Do:
Support daily routines & independent living skills Provide some hands-on help with personal care/hygiene Assist with community outings
Preferred:
experience with behaviors & seizures
Requirements:
Must be 18 yrs+ and have at minimum a High School Diploma or GED Must be physically fit, dependable, and patient Must be able to administer medication Must have a valid driver's license, automobile and current insurance policy required. Knowledge of basic first aid techniques and ability to perform CPR will be required after onboarding. Be committed to providing quality support. This position is essential for fostering independence while ensuring safety and support for individuals in need.
