Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to individual in home setting in exchange for free studio apartment. This person is a former UNCW English Department lecturer and Public Radio Commentator. In this role, you will assist client with daily activities, monitor their health and well-being, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a dynamic, supportive environment focused on person-centered care. These duties would be in exchange for use of living in free private studio apartment with private bathroom and separate entrance, within close proximity to UNC-W. Nursing student Preferred! Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living Help such as: Help with preparation of some meals Walk small friendly Senior dog in am and pm Assistance with laundry when needed Take to Dr and hair appointments, when needed Provide companionship Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred Strong communication skills with a compassionate attitude Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
