The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized assistance with daily activities and health monitoring. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals. The PCA will work closely with healthcare professionals and families to ensure clients' comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status. Support medication reminders following prescribed instructions while maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids to ensure safe transfers and positioning. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident spaces and common areas. Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding residents' progress or concerns. Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of ADLs, & vital signs monitoring. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Valid driver's license preferred. Experience operating mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices is beneficial.
