Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our vibrant healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients and residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. Responsibilities Assist patients and residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient observations, vital signs, and overall health status regularly and accurately document findings using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Support with medication administration following proper protocols and medical terminology guidelines Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques and Alzheimer's care strategies Assist with catheter care, wound care, hospice support, and other medical procedures as trained Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks like laundry and meal preparation while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Requirements Valid CNA certification or equivalent personal care assistant credential required Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and EHR/EMR systems essential for accurate record keeping Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, and hospice support preferred CPR certification required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance or catheter care are advantageous Ability to work independently or as part of a team in live-in employment or shift-based roles Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude toward patient care Join us in delivering exceptional caregiving services that truly make a difference! $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
