Job Description

DSP 2 - Production Pride, Inc. Looking for a role where your leadership skills, heart for people, and hands-on teaching all come together? Pride, Inc. is hiring a DSP 2 in Production —a dynamic position for someone who loves supporting people, building skills, and keeping a team moving forward. This role provides training and guidance to individuals served in employment and day programming and may step into a leadership role in the absence of the Production Supervisor, with support from the Vocational Contracts Coordinator. What You'll Do Train, support, and guide individuals served in production and day programming skills Promote growth, well-being, and autonomy through positive role modeling and choice-based support Create a warm, upbeat, team-focused environment rooted in dignity and respect Implement behavior supports, skill-building plans, and vocational goals outlined in each person's Plan for the Future Assist with vocational assessments, team meetings, and progress reports Support and guide other DSPs, including monitoring documentation and quality standards Maintain accurate records including data collection, MARs, IFRs, and reports Become medication certified and follow all medication and safety protocols Ensure quality control of production work and train others on procedures Know emergency procedures and lead monthly fire drills Attend staff meetings and agency trainings Step into supervisory coverage when needed and help keep operations running smoothly Schedule Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM Flexibility required to cover shifts as needed May carry the supervisor work cell phone when covering leadership duties What We're Looking For Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) At least 6 months experience as a DSP or similar role ; one year preferred Experience supporting people with disabilities (required) Strong knowledge of behavior supports, vocational training, and team collaboration Valid driver's license with a clear driving record Ability to assist with lifting and transfers up to 50 lbs The Bottom Line This is more than a job—it's a chance to teach real skills, support independence, lead with purpose, and be part of a team that believes people deserve meaningful work and meaningful lives.
