Direct Support Professional

We are looking for a compassionate, responsible Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers to join our small fast paced company. DSP's will work part time hours in our clients' homes as well as running non-medical related errands for various clients as needed. Caregivers will assist in daily living, medical needs and personal care services. Individuals must follow an established care plan, created in accordance with instructions provided by a medical professional. Candidates must be dependable and serious about the job responsibilities listed.

Responsibilities:

Provide health care services in patient's residence. Perform domestic and household tasks as needed Assist with client's personal care activities Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition as needed Provide other duties as instructed by supervising RN Assist various clients with errands and shopping needs Must be flexible in work hours as needed

Skills:

RESPONSIBLE, DEPENDABLE, AND TRUSTWORTHY MUST

have excellent communication skills as they are of the utmost importance in this position. Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Experience in cares within scope of skillset preferred. Proficiency in the English language Caring and compassionate personality Must have a current driver's license and auto insurance Current CPR certification - preferred, not required First Aid training - preferred, but not required Serious applicants' only PLEASE!!!!
