Direct Support Professional - Days

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury. This role involves supporting residents in their daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being within a caring environment. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide patient observation and monitor health status, including vital signs and medication administration Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs in accordance with care plans Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts to safely transfer residents requiring assistance Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light cleaning tasks and ensuring infection control protocols are followed Document care activities accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Engage residents in social activities and community outings to promote socialization and mental well-being Respond promptly to emergency situations using CPR or first aid skills when necessary Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive home & community care Experience No experience needed. Training is provided.
