Job Description:
As a Direct Support Professional at DEBO, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality support and care to our participants. You will assist with daily activities, encourage independence, and help our participants achieve their personal goals. This position is available for both part-time and full-time candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to participants in various settings, including their homes and community. Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each participant's needs and goals. Encourage and empower participants to engage in community activities and develop social skills. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and participants' progress. Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure a holistic approach to participant care. Uphold DEBO's core values by demonstrating initiative, going above and beyond for our participants, and prioritizing their needs.
Qualifications:
Certifications in healthcare or related fields are a plus. Previous experience in a similar role or a passion for working with individuals with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate, patient, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
