Position Summary The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) plays a vital role in supporting residents with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centered care in a compassionate and respectful environment. Key Responsibilities Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to nursing leadership Assist with meal service, including set-up and hydration support as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interaction Follow individualized care plans and document care provided accurately and timely Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety protocols Qualifications Previous caregiving experience preferred (assisted living, home health, or long-term care) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Compassionate, patient, and dependable Physical Requirements Ability to reposition residents Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations Work Environment Assisted living community setting Fast-paced environment focused on resident-centered care Requires flexibility, including weekends and holidays as needed Why Join Our Team?
