Integrity Alliance is highly dedicated to providing excellent support to our DSPs and are motivated to help you reach your career goals in this field of work.
Description:
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs in making day-to-day choices that lead to greater independence and opportunities to participate in and contribute to community life. A successful DSP functions as an integral member of a team that seeks to understand the likes, dislikes, hopes and dreams of persons receiving services to better support them as they make choices and progress toward their goals.
Employee Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide care and assist individuals with intellectual and developmental challenges through teaching, modeling, and participating as needed/assigned Adhere to the requirements for documentation Maintaining a clean and safe environment Administering medications if needed Supporting individuals with hygiene Providing transportation
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age Possess a valid Driver's License and current Auto Insurance Have a reliable vehicle for transportation purposes during shift Pass all background checks Must have a full range of motion, physical strength, and the ability to achieve and maintain training and certifications
Training:
Integrity Alliance, LLC agency training, Medication Aide Certification, Standard First Aid & CPR Certification, Mandt Certification Will provide training needed for the right candidate
Experience:
Experience in human-service related fields Prefer one-year experience supporting people with developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs. Will train right candidates
Job Type:

$15.00 - $17.50 per hour
