Job Description

In this role, you'll support seniors and individuals with in their daily routines, fostering independence and enhancing quality of life. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring, including vital signs and patient observation Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Use proper lifting techniques and equipment to assist with mobility and transfers safely Support clients during outings or appointments within the community, ensuring safety and engagement Follow care plans designed by healthcare professionals, documenting observations accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations Monitor residents' well-being by observing changes in condition and reporting to supervisors promptly Support medication administration under supervision or as trained, ensuring adherence to safety protocols Maintain a clean, organized environment that promotes health and safety for all residents Experience No previous caregiving experience is required — we value your enthusiasm and willingness to learn! However, candidates with background knowledge or skills in the following areas are encouraged to apply: Home & community care experience or assisted living settings Working with people with disabilities or developmental challenges Senior care or nursing home experience Knowledge of patient observation, vital signs monitoring, or basic nursing skills such as CPR and first aid Experience with Alzheimer's/dementia/memory care or hospice environments Familiarity with HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality We provide thorough training on all aspects of caregiving, including safety procedures like heavy lifting techniques and the use of mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts.
