In this vital role, you will provide personalized care, promote independence, and ensure safety in private homes. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a warm, respectful environment that fosters dignity and well-being for each individual. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and proper infection control procedures Use equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's personal assistive devices to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes; experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, or developmental disabilities is highly valued Certifications in CPR and First Aid are preferred; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or hospice care are a plus Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize signs of distress or deterioration Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically assist individuals with mobility or transfer needs Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide compassionate support to clients Working knowledge of care plans and patient monitoring procedures Prior experience working with seniors is preferred; familiarity with Alzheimer's care and dementia care is advantageous Join us in providing exceptional caregiving that enriches lives!
