Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide with an active license to provide exceptional care to clients in their homes. Fluency in Hungarian or Polish is essential to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations. In this role, you will deliver personalized assistance, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for individuals requiring support with daily activities. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and observe patients' conditions regularly, noting changes in health status and reporting findings accurately using electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems Administer medications and treatments following medical instructions while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Perform vital signs assessments such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to track health status Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, hospice care, or individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring catheter care or other medical procedures Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation to promote healthy living Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks including laundry and general cleaning Requirements Valid Home Health Aide license with active certification; additional certifications such as CPR are highly preferred Fluency in Hungarian or Polish is required for effective communication with clients from diverse backgrounds Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is strongly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and medical documentation practices Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, developmental disabilities, or in hospice settings is advantageous Ability to operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and monitor vital signs accurately Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards Excellent caregiving skills combined with a positive attitude and energetic approach to client support Join our team to deliver compassionate home health care that transforms lives!
