Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Home Health Aide to provide essential personal care and support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote client independence, and ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Support meal planning and preparation while ensuring dietary needs and restrictions are met. Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and laundry as needed. Provide medication reminders and assist with scheduling and attending medical appointments. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records and documentation. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers using proper techniques and equipment. Observe and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition to supervisors or healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) with current certification. Previous experience as a home health aide or in a similar caregiving role preferred. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and standard caregiving procedures. Ability to prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and special needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
