Certified Home Health Aide

Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status accurately. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and ensuring confidentiality at all times. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment conducive to patient well-being. Document all patient interactions accurately in medical documentation systems while adhering to healthcare standards and protocols. Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans. Requirements Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) Proven experience in home health care environments. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's care. Strong communication skills combined with a caring attitude focused on patient safety and comfort. Flexibility to work live-in shifts or flexible hours based on patient needs; reliable transportation is advantageous.
