Position Summary Join Life Home Care as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) and play a vital role in delivering personalized home health services. You will work within your local community, helping clients maintain independence, dignity, and comfort while receiving exceptional in-home care. Responsibilities Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Monitor and document patient observations and vital signs Assist with medication reminders and medical tasks such as catheter care Support clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory impairments Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and protect patient confidentiality Offer emotional support, companionship, and consistent presence in the home Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients Qualifications Valid NJ CHHA certification Experience in home care, assisted living, or similar settings Knowledge of caregiving best practices Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation and able to drive clients Ability to assist with complex medical needs such as Hoyer lifts and catheter care (training available if needed) Compassionate demeanor with strong communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a care team Prior experience with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred Why Join Life Home Care? $21/hour — competitive pay 12-hour shift opportunities (Day Shifts) Immediate cases available in Morris & Essex County Supportive, responsive office team Flexible scheduling Ongoing training and professional development How to ApplyApply in person at Life Home Care's Bergen County location: 70 S Orange Ave #220, Livingston, NJ 07039 Walk-ins are always welcome !
