Montclair Open Position HOURS:

Sunday 10am-3pm, Possibility of more hours Visien Ministries is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate, in-home care for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in New Jersey . We're currently looking to hire a Direct Support Professional for a client located in Montclair, NJ . This position is available to start immediately . Position Summary As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals by assisting with daily routines, supporting behavioral goals, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily living tasks (bathing, dressing, meals) Support behavior plans and encourage positive behavior Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities Keep a clean and safe home environment Work closely with care teams to implement personalized support plans Offer companionship and emotional support

Requirements:

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Understanding of behavior management and HIPAA compliance Basic first aid and vital sign monitoring Strong communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must use your own car.
