Direct Support Professional/DSP

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll make a meaningful difference every day by helping individuals build life skills, stay safe, and live fulfilling lives. We have part time and full time shifts available. Responsibilities Provide direct care and support to individuals with I/DD in a residential setting. Implement individualized service plans (ISPs) and promote independence and daily living skills. Ensure a safe, clean, and positive environment. Support clients in community activities, appointments, and recreational outings. Administer and document medications per agency policy. Maintain accurate daily documentation and communication logs. Uphold client rights, dignity, and confidentiality always. Attend required training courses and staff meetings. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid New Jersey driver's license and clean driving record. Strong communication skills and basic computer skills. Ability to lift, assist, and provide physical support as needed. Prior experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Must pass background checks, fingerprinting, and drug screening. Requirements Completion of CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, and required College of Direct Support (CDS) trainings. Must remain awake during all working hours.
