Position Description:
The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, likes to drive and participate in community activities, and is dependable, kind, and patient. This position involves supporting an individual with daily living activities and community engagement in the Freehold area.
Responsibilities Include:
Transportation to and from day program Community outings and recreational activities Family visits and trips Assistance with maintaining the apartment Providing companionship and support with daily tasks Available hours:
Overnights:
2 positions - 7 nights newly adding support 11pm - 7:30 am Come join a great team and make a positive difference in someone's life while working with a supportive organization Overview Duties Assist the person with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs and preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties in accordance with personal preferences Document care activities accurately in compliance with privacy regulations like HIPAA and assist with updating care plans regularly Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities. Valid certifications including CPR, and First Aid. Valid drivers License Ability to lift, bend, ride a bike, swim and participate in sporting events. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, families, and healthcare providers Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of the person.
