Male- LIVE-IN - Certified Home Health Aid

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MALE - Live-In Certified Home Health Aide to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. The ideal candidate MUST have experience with dementia and committed to promoting independence and well-being for those they serve. As a live-in caregiver, you will reside with the client, ensuring continuous support and fostering a trusting relationship. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and observe patients' health status by recording vital signs and noting changes in condition Support clients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, hospice care, or memory care programs Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and medical documentation standards Use EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems efficiently to update patient information and communicate care updates with healthcare teams Skills Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments with long-term care experience Strong knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, catheter care, and medication administration protocols Skilled in patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Proficient in using EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of medical records and patient data Ability to operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities Knowledge of hospice care principles, memory care strategies, and working within home & community care settings This position offers an enriching environment where your dedication directly impacts the quality of life for those you serve.
