Albuquerque, NM Job Details Full-time $16.75 - $18.75 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Direct Support Professional (Intermediate Care Facility/ICF) - Full-time & Part-time We are seeking compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professionals to provide exceptional care and support to individuals who have developmental disabilities in our Southeast homes! ARCA has 2 beautiful Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) located in Southeast Albuquerque and we are hiring for evening, weekend and night awake shifts! In this vital role, you will empower residents to live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your dedication will foster a positive environment where residents feel valued, respected, and supported in their daily lives. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Follow care plans accurately and may administer medications. Prepare meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal service to promote healthy eating habits.

Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing housekeeping tasks. Support residents during community outings or activities to promote social engagement and independence. Document care activities thoroughly while respecting residents' privacy and confidentiality Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is preferred but not required. Paid comprehensive training program is provided.

Experience with medically fragile individuals or challenging behaviors a plus. NO High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Transportation is an essential function of the position.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities or health challenges.
