Home Health Aide

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and highly skilled Home Health Aide to provide high-quality in-home care to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Labor's Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program (DEEOIC).Our mission is to help former energy workers with chronic illnesses remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. As a DEEOIC provider, you will provide personalized care designed to manage accepted work-related conditions.

Responsibilities Personal Care:

Assistance with daily living activities (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care.

Health Monitoring:

Monitoring vital signs (pulse, temperature, respiration rate) and reporting changes in condition to the nursing supervisor.

Medical Support:

Assisting with medication management and reminders.

Mobility & Safety:

Providing transfer assistance and mobility support around the home.

Household Support:

Performing light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, linen changes, and preparing meals to meet specific dietary needs.

Documentation:

Accurately maintaining patient records, including tracking daily activities and care provided. Qualifications Recommended 6 months of experience in home health or a similar setting. Must pass a criminal background check. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance. Compassion, honesty, and a desire to help those with chronic illnesses.

Pay:

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
