Home Health Aide

Job Summary We are seeking a qualified, compassionate, reliable, and highly skilled Home Health Aide with experience in general house hold services to provide high-quality in-home care to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Labor's Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program (DEEOIC). Friday- Sunday 8:00 AM- 8:00 PM. $19.00 per hour with the opportunity to advance in pay following 90 day evaluation as well as annually.

As a DEEOIC provider, you will provide personalized care designed to manage accepted work-related conditions.

Responsibilities Personal Care:

Assistance with daily living activities (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care.

Health Monitoring:

Monitoring vital signs (pulse, temperature, respiration rate) and reporting changes in condition to the nursing supervisor.

Medical Support:

Assisting with medication management and reminders.

Mobility & Safety:

Providing transfer assistance and mobility support around the home.

Household Support:

Performing light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, linen changes, and preparing meals to meet specific dietary needs.

Documentation:

Accurately maintaining patient records, including tracking daily activities and care provided. Qualifications Recommended 6 months of experience in home health or a similar setting. Must pass a criminal background check. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance. Compassion, honesty, and a desire to help those with chronic illnesses.
