The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of service. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Monitor and document patient observations, including changes in health status. Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry. Assist clients with mobility and transfers as needed. Support individuals with memory care needs by engaging them in activities that promote cognitive function. Maintain accurate medical records and reports as required. Provide catheter care and other personal health assistance when necessary. Work effectively with individuals with disabilities, ensuring their specific needs are met. Experience Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred but not required. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and basic medical record keeping is advantageous. Skills in meal preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean living environment are essential. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or memory care patients is a plus. A compassionate demeanor and strong communication skills are necessary for building rapport with clients.
