Camillus, NY Job Details Per diem $18.50 - $20.50 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Self-Direction DSP - Camillus Ny Area (Job #MAV-TM) Ex-A 24-year-old male in the Camillus area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist him with, money management, being active in his community, working on safety in the community and help with choosing activities to his liking. Ex-Tim enjoys spending time with family, going to baseball and hockey games with friends and family, attending concerts with his mom and dad, loves listing to 80's music, watching cooking shows with his dad, playing video games on his phone, visiting and playing board games with friends at Wegmans Dewitt, and attending dances sponsored by Arise/EFR at SALTspace. The ideal candidate should be creative and engaging, active, and patient, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate should be very active and willing to go on long walks at various locations in the community, such as the Erie Canal (Newport Rd) Marcellus Park, and Camillus Park. Tim enjoys swimming and walking the track at the YMCA Baldwinsville, attending the State Fair, and going to the Nationals. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services, at the agency.

Hours and days of work:

Monday and Friday's from 2:30 to 5:30pm With Flexibility for Mondays as Tim works one weekend a month thru his Day Hab. Starting pay is $18.50/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

Camillus, NY Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work independently in the person's home and/or community. Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred. New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community. Must have a valid drivers license Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
