Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide who is fluent in Chinese to provide exceptional in-home care to clients. In this vital role, you will support individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with disabilities, and individuals requiring specialized care such as Alzheimer's or dementia. Your energetic approach will help promote independence, comfort, and well-being while ensuring safety and adherence to healthcare standards. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through personalized caregiving, all while working within a supportive team environment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and observe patients' health status, recording vital signs and reporting changes promptly Help with medication administration following proper protocols and documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Assist with medical procedures like catheter care, wound care, or hospice-related tasks as trained Document all care activities accurately in medical records while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations Requirements Proven experience in home health care or long-term care settings, including assisted living or nursing homes Fluency in Chinese and English to effectively communicate with clients and their families Knowledge of medical terminology and caregiving techniques for dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and developmental disabilities Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or catheter care are preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient care activities Ability to work independently while following healthcare protocols and safety guidelines Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and team members Join us to provide heartfelt care that enhances the quality of life for those you serve.
