Care Aide (Hybrid 1st & 2nd Shift) - $750 Sign-On Bonus Keene Valley Neighborhood House (KVNH) , a non-profit assisted living residence dedicated to providing exceptional care in a home-like environment, is growing our team. We are currently seeking a full-time Care Aide for a hybrid 1st and 2nd shift position (some days 1st shift, some days 2nd shift. It will be a set, permanent schedule - no surprises) . This role offers variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents every day. Former CNAs, Home Health Aides, and experienced caregivers are encouraged to apply—but no experience is required . We are happy to train the right person. Why Consider KVNH? Our caregivers can earn $45,200-$65,000 annually , including: Competitive hourly wages Attendance incentives Shift differentials Periodic and annual bonuses Optional overtime opportunities And just so you know—we never mandate overtime. Ever. If extra shifts are available, we'll ask nicely and occasionally attempt shameless bribery with incentives and bonuses. $750 Sign-On Bonus $250 after 30 days $250 after 60 days $250 after 6 months Responsibilities Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting as needed Assist residents with mobility and transfers as needed Promote the safety, comfort, dignity, and well-being of residents Observe and report changes in resident condition or unusual incidents to the Nurse Manager Assist with meal service Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required) Former CNA or Home Health Aide experience welcomed (not required) Compassionate, patient, and reliable Strong communication skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays Reliable transportation Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) with Employer Match Paid Time Off Sick Time 9 Paid Holidays 10 Vacation Days Subsidized Employee Meals Compensation Starting annual compensation: $45,200 minimum (based on a 40-hour work week, attendance incentives, and shift worked). Many employees earn $50,000-$65,000 per year through bonuses, shift differentials, and occasional voluntary overtime.
