Direct Support Professional

Overview About us Brokering with Hope is a small business in Saugerties NY. We are professional, agile and innovative. We are looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide support to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living, helping individuals develop and maintain independent living skills, and providing emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and patient demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to helping others reach their full potential. Candidate must have experience with individuals with Autism. This will be after school hours and two days a week during the day time.

Responsibilities:

Provide transportation to medical appointments, recreational activities, and other outings. Monitor individuals' health and safety. Assist individuals in developing and achieving personal goals. Maintain records of services provided and progress made by individuals. Provide emotional support to individuals in crisis situations.

Pay:

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
