Job Description

Now Hiring Compassionate HHA/PCA Caregivers for Veterans. Our veterans once served the call to serve our country - now it's our turn to serve them! We are seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide exceptional in-home care and companionship to local veterans. This is more than a job - it's a chance to make a real impact in the life of someone who sacrificied for others. As a caregiver, you will help veterans remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while providing the respect, dignity and compassion they deserve. In taking this position, our Home Health Aides and Personal Care Assistants would receive: A great work environment Flexible scheduling for both part-time and full time shifts Competitive pay with direct deposit Weekly Pay Paid training and ongoing development programs Paid travel time between clients only and paid mileage Recognition programs - including Caregiver of the Month Aflac Insurance opportunities 401K Retirement Plan with a Company Match Starting Salary $20.65 an hour, $1.50 Weekend Pay Differential $500 Sign On Bonus for HHA and PCA (must work 90 days)
HHA/PCA Responsibilities:
Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to): Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair) Ambulation/Transfers Dressing/Shaving Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments. Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to): Medication reminders Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises Measuring and preparing special diets Understanding dementia care Incontinence care Requirements for
HHA/PCA :
High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred Valid Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide Certificate One year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities). Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job. Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile
