!! Looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist developmentally disabled individuals get started with their by assisting with personal care needs. This is a part -time position, Monday - Friday, early morning, in a residential setting. Responsible for encouraging and guiding individuals in activities that promote independence and inclusion within the local community, protecting the individuals' health and safety, facilitating relationship building, and teaching functional skills.
Status:
Part-time, Monday - Friday, 6am - 9am
Responsibilities Include:
Assist with personal care Follow individual's habilitation plan/daily activity schedule. Provide transportation for participants in a safe manner to various places in the community. Support individuals in developing/maintaining functional skills and relationships with people in various community settings. Complete all necessary paperwork including but not limited to: daily intervention records, monthly notes, continuing notes, communication log and vehicle records. Conformance to all HIPPA privacy standards. Perform personal care tasks as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. What we
