Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Respiratory Therapy Position Summary Summary:
The Respiratory Care Assistant will assist in the advancement of rational, patient-oriented respiratory therapy. He/she will be under the supervision of a respiratory therapist or respiratory technician.
Qualifications Responsibilities:
Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program High school Diploma or equivalent. Experience And Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Speaks, reads and writes English Enrolled in Respiratory Care Program is preferred.
License/Certifications Working Conditions Other information:
Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn May require prolonged periods of standing. Will require the lifting of heavy boxes and oxygen cylinders.
