This position strives toward ensuring every individual served is able to achieve a meaningful, satisfying quality of life. Brimstone is a house with 10 wonderful women, who enjoy outings, cooking, crafting, dancing and singing. We range from 34 years to 90 years old. A pretty active bunch with so many abilities making them stand out from one another. Staff work together to build supports catered to each resident at Brimstone by getting to know each individual. As a Direct Support Professional of The Arc Mid-Hudson, you will be introduced to your Success Coach who will help train you as you learn and develop skills for your new position. In addition to the base pay, hourly shift differentials can be earned when working evenings and/or overnights ($1.15 per hour more) and weekends ($ 1.35 per hour more) shifts in our Residential Programs . This program also earns a temporary enhancement of $ 2.00 more per hour!
