Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to assist all individuals in assigned program in achieving a challenging, stimulating, dignified life by serving as an advocate and liaison for and on behalf of individuals' rights and benefits. In the absence of management oversees Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to ensure all policies and funding requirements have been met. Pay Range $19.50-$24.50/hour Benefits:

Maintain the health and wellbeing of the individuals EPI serves. Provide protective oversight and supervision for individuals assigned. Aid and instruct services daily to help achieve the individuals' goals and objectives; provide support and assistance for DSP's. Obtain AMAP certification (Office for People with Developmental Disabilities), as required/ applicable. Ensure shifts have proper levels of coverage. Complete and distribute monthly activity calendar, as applicable. Ensure activities on monthly calendar are being completed, if applicable. Provide site specific staff training as necessary, including van certification. Ensure all required reports are completed per specification. Follow up on all employee documentation ensuring it is accurate and up to date. Report all policy violations to appropriate supervisor. Promote workplace safety. Participate in Life Plan and/or team meetings of persons supported as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the program supervisor and/or designee within scope of practice. Non-Essential Functions:
Participate on various committees as able. Ensure all vehicle paperwork is completed; checks daily and follows up with staff as necessary. Compliance:
Must maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion concerning all business-related matters, including but not limited to board/vendors/donors' names, investigations, finance, operations, and employee relations matters. Must be willing to complete specific company required trainings as mandated by our governing agency, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and Department of Health (DOH), at time of hire and annually thereafter. High school graduate or equivalent and one year experience in the human service field; OR An associate's degree in a related field. Supervision:
Provide oversight to DSP's in the absence of Program Manager and Program Supervisor. Ensure all policies are adhered to. Notifies appropriate supervisor immediately of any policy violations. Ensure funding requirements (daily documentation) have been completed prior to the end of the shift. Supervision:
None Computer Skills:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs to include Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams Ability to navigate electronic record keeping system. Ability to complete online training requirements. Qualifications:
Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver's License-a vehicle is required for business travel. Mature interpersonal/professional skills to effectively collaborate, resolve issues and maintain confidentiality. Good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to use poise, tact, and diplomacy, during difficult and/or stressful situations. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, and customer requests, while meeting deadlines. Physical Demands:

Employee must be able to perform Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention - Revised (SCIP-R) if required Must be able to perform CPR and first aid if required While performing the duties of this position, exposure to changing weather conditions will occur.
