Tuesday-Friday 10a-5p, hours can increase Client has Alzheimer's Company Overview Helping Hearts At Home is a dedicated companion agency owned and operated by a registered nurse with decades of experience working with seniors and individuals with disabilities across diverse healthcare settings. Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and attentive Patient Companions to provide personalized support and companionship to patients in various healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of healthcare settings, including hospital, outpatient, and post-acute care, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to enhancing patient well-being. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working within a supportive team. Duties Offer emotional support, companionship, and reassurance. Assist with non-medical activities such as mobility, grooming, and daily routines to promote comfort and independence. Observe and report changes in client behavior or condition to office staff promptly. Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Specialize in Dementias and Alzheimer's behavior modification. Provide post-discharge support by helping patients understand care instructions and encouraging adherence to treatment plans. Qualifications 2 years experience in home care Valid Driver's License Reliable vehicle
